750lbs trap bar PR. Very happy with that - Not going for many max attempts here throughout off season

Many max attempts to come in comps next year

Maxes as of December 1

DL Conventional - 515 Lbs
Squat 430lbs
OHP 225lbs

300lbs farmer handles for 7ft



Other gains made but no maxes attempted yet.

Cutting going well, down to 104kg this AM, goal is 90kg for March

Was a great year.

Noobie gains mostly out of the way, doubles most of my lifts, lost 60 pounds of fat, learned and competed in my first few shows and am ready to debut and do what I can this year with my coach.


Gonna be a great year

Only goals at the moment that are in mind other than doing well in competitions is a 600lbs conventional deadlift which is attainable before December.

We'll see what else happens!

WEIGHTS ANNOUNCED

I think I'm a little over-trained for this show, so I'll be looking to place well.

Log press for reps - 140lbs log for 75seconds
Yoke - 500lbs, 80' total, 40' one way 40' back
Keg over Bar - Weights TBD - 4 kegs 20' away need to be loaded over a 54" bar
Car Deadlift 400lbs in hand for reps in 60s


I will destroy all of these events - Curious to see weights on the keg over bar as that's a VERY high bar, especially for a novice comp.

Did a mock event practice with a friend last weekend and did well:

Training practice Scores:
Log press - 11 reps in 75 seconds
Yoke - 19.89s
Bag* Over Bar - 20.32s
Trapbar Deadlift** - 27 reps in 75 seconds

*No Access to keg training
**no access to car deadlift implement

Some unpeaked max testing - dispite coaches advice. Gym partners pushing me to do some testing.


545lb conventional deadlift
225lbs axel bar push press


Happy with both numbers as I've lost 25 pounds since last max attempts.


Current BW 215lbs/98KG
Deadlift - 545LBs
Push PRess - 225Lbs
Strict Press - 175lbs
Bench Press - 200lbs
Squat 425lbs



Been along time since I've tested bench or squats

Current BW 198lbs/90kg
Deadlift - 585LBs
Push PRess - 255Lbs
Strict Press - 205lbs
Bench Press - 225lbs
Squat 440lbs



Have not tried true 1RM on the bench/squat.

Deadlift absolute max PR was 6 plates or 585lbs last week, not often I go for max attempts.

More body weight loss and strength still on the up.

Qualified for Provincials with a second place finish and am excited to do well in provincials and get my bid to nationals.

Will keep this updated.
