For gaming PC and not gaming+streaming PC, below is my bare minimum recommendation.
CPU - Ryzen 5 (current generation is 5XXX series) or Intel i5 (current generation is 12 or 12XXX series)
CPU cooler - you can go with either traditional (heatsink & fan) or AIO cooler (all-in-one liquid cooler), but considering Ryzen 5 or Intel i5, it's ok to go with a traditional
Motherboard - usually sorted/classified by chipset
Ryzen - current is B550 (lower tier) and X570 (upper tier)
Intel - current is B660 and Z690; and additional chipsets are coming out
RAM - 16GB minimum at DDR4 3200MHz
You can get DDR5 with Intel chipsets but too costly and often out of stock
PSU - Look at your GPU's minimum power requirement and/or use a PSU calculator (you can search for these and put in the parts you pick to calculate power requirements)
GPU - often out of stock but RTX 3000 series is current generation
It's very much in high demand that the demand/supply is affecting previous generations, RTX 2000 series and GTX 1600 series
Case - Any case you want, but just make sure to look at 1) motherboard sizing, 2) CPU cooler height and 3) GPU length so that everything fits
If you're looking to build your own, PC Part Picker is a great site and tool to use.
If you're looking to customize your own but be built by a company (SI, system integrator), check out Origin, CyberPower, iBuyPower, etc.
Thank you this is perfect !

You could use this chart for the graphics, I wouldn't shoot for anything under the 1660ti,
https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=92109553&f=189&p=603514033Try to avoid hdd storage and just stick with a 1-2 gig SSD, unless you need more storage then just game off the SSD. Cpu and ram play a factor as I wouldn't shoot for under 16 gigs of ram. For the cpu you could get a 8-9th gen i5 or i7 for Intel or can Google the comparison for AMD I don't know them too well but I've heard they are worth it for being cheaper than Intel.
Thank you so much ! This helps a lot !
