Really? I thought it made sense to me. I have worked with my coworkers for a period of time, we have developed friendly feelings or some kind of attachment for each other. I don't think it was due to the workplace being "shitty". Also it doesn't mean they weren't happy for me. They were just sad about me leaving.
I mean, you can be sad somebody wont be around anymore but happy that theyre moving on to something better, more pay or better conditions.
When I left the bank they had become my 2nd family, but they knew I was in turmoil over the job, so it was a happy experience to see me go. The last 2 weeks was "Aww im gonna miss you" and stuff but still a positive experience.
Other jobs, I never gave two weeks. Thats the first job ive ever gave notice.
