The difference is that those call for very specific skills. A white base needs to have bs/bs to be worthwhile, but a staff base can be any main skill + associated mastery. So lightning, hydra, nova, fireball, etc.

And don’t think for a second that most players aren’t spending hours mfing anyway. This is a new toy players will hunt for.

Yep, and i have no problem with that. Play the game as you enjoy it.

But the fact is : this runeword is mediocre

- very hard (very very hard) to find the "godly" base. Everyone speak like it's easy to find the good 3/3/3 base. It's not. Only few people will use this runeword at his true effectivness
- there is already better alternative for every builds. Cheaper and WAY easier to get. It's a fact.

At least, it make a new goal to achieve, a new obssession : make a good obssession runeword.

You need very specific skills.

- almost useless for all lightning builds
- useless for cold builds
- so you need at least 3 fire ball or hydra /3 fire mastery / x usefull skill

200fcr nova sorc could use this.

Cold for sure will never use this over fathom.

Fire - fireball, hydra, blaze may be viable with dmg and frw buff - obsession would work.

Also, it doesn’t need to be in a perfect base to be useful. Any 3 skill / 3 mastery is enough to work, and just remember that zods aren’t worth much compared to ber/jah, and 35 spirits are in high demand for all classes.

Find a 3/3 correct mastery is still very hard to find.

I really doubt your 200fcr nova obssession > infinity nova sorc
- nova scale badly with +skills, way more damage scaling with -%res
- nova cost way too much mana, obssession give .. 20 energy

But at least, it's "fun" to play with staff.
As it's fun to play with a scythe infinity.
