A new member (16 Posts) Bin‘d an item from me and asked for Mediation.

Ok, now I‘m thinking about this Situation:

I‘ll give him the item and he tells the medi, that he didn‘t receive it.
How could I avoid this Situation? 🧐

The mediator is there to prevent any situations like that. The mediator is "trusted" which on this website means that you can trust that your item will be safely transferred only when the mediator gets the FG for the item. It's a two way street. You are always safe with a mediator.

But nowadays, a Medi isn‘t ingame.

And If I say: Deal complete
And the Buyer says: He didn‘t receive

Than it could be difficult, I think.

While there may be a little bit of a time delay - the mediator is the final say / trusted member vs. the other parties in the deal. You do not have to worry when you deal with a mediator. If the buyer says they didn't receive it the mediator's gold logs will show the buyer/seller to be true/false.

That's why it stated in the PM you receive from mediator that, you take screenshots during trade and don't leave the game until the mediation is complete !
In case this might happen we can get the proofs from both sides !

I had situation like this other day and i too think the way they mediate now is stupid.

The med that the system chose had literally same amount of gold as my trade (32k) and i got in game (dude was 2021) and tossed like half my items and looked at jsp thinking the fg never got sent to the med cause the meds fg never changed so i frantically started picking them up. I messaged mod he said the forum bank has it im good to trade. After i toss my entire char dude afk’d for like 30 minutes before pming the mod and even screenshots didnt get the mod to complete the trade til guy pm’d.

Sounds like that trader was busy or didn't know he was supposed to confirm with the mediator
