Sorry, forgot to answer this post. I do believe that while you are in town and the objective is completed during that time and it is one of the ones that your character can complete... you DO get the objective.

However, with the mention of a phone player that has DC'd and you join and complete that objective, I am not sure that the game creator would get that objective as well, considering, if you press 'Enter' and type '/who (their character name)' and press enter, you will get notice that that user is OFFLINE... so in this case, I would surmise that this persons character will NOT get the objective.

for me the problem isn't necessarily how hard they are to find or the level req, it's that face the evil and shamans and the rest take up slots even though they can't spawn solo. I understand the game was designed for group play, but then groups aren't doing objectives either nowadays.

yeah I meant if you're non-dc in town, thanks.
I might try this map tactic with pest and sneaky though, finally I understand why level cap is useful on maps

the maze ONLY increases if you REMAKE the game. and remake the MAZE.

and if you do that. you now have to RE STEP.

groups most def are doing objectives. especially on GOOD events.

either doing explore climbs from 55 to 71 for potential.(i only say 55 to 71 because thats what i prefer some may be doing early/later) and if im doing this ill knock out some of the objectives early so we have better ones for 55. if they dont spawn they dont spawn but if they do. bonus

or doing mirror maze.

I know where you are coming from, and I relate. Now, during my time playing LS, the objective "Face the Evil" was and still is a FUCKING BITCH to spawn, even after all the updates from 2010 (12 fucking years later it is still a fucking Bitch Objective!) Note: don't get me wrong, I used to play SC in the day, and I have only seen it appear like 3-5 times... don't know how fast it spawns with all the groups that "Whistle" dixie all day long and their encounters for this objective (FtE), but I doubt they complete this one faster then completing Sneaky or Shamans or Swarm etc.

Anyway, I did a suggestion a YEAR or (s) ago that the OBJECTIVE list should be increased from the maximum of three(3) to five(5) [as long as they have met the prerequisite(s)] and of course, the community thought my suggestion was a pile of Dung and did not realise the implications or impact it makes to this game, and with the updates, it is more prominent that it SHOULD be adjusted.

I like this idea, but for me personally, I don't want Treasure Pest objective to appear unless my character level is 30+, this way, if by a miracle chance it drops a great item, at least the tier level is not going to be Tier V, and hopefully it will be a Tier VIII+.

Again, 100% correct, as a solo'er or BUFCORE character, you MAY encounter certain monsters like Slugslider / Gigabee that fill up 9 squares fast and your killing speed can NOT clear them fast enough, or getting that TYPE of monster when you drop a White item into a Well that is 5 levels below your character level and you have to work crazy hard to clear all monsters that were "call for help" ability of Slug / Giga.

So, if it is too tough because of crap / mediocre gear or a welling monster (Slug/Giga) filling up 9 monster squares... you either stick around and spend an hour or more trying to kill them, or you REMAKE (create a new game) and subjected to the X# of steps you take &/or encounters being set back to a zero(0) count... start again from scratch to spawn the objective previously.

What? I have and still kill a 9 wave of slugs / giga to this day with mediocre gear! What are you trying to say here? Can you not handle the jandal to do this or what?

EDIT: I get it now, you think new players have the gear you use... damn, they must be more awesome than either of us starting with good to great gear. Oh w8... they start out with Tier I white items, and if you are lucky more than the standard 2 items per feeder class.
