Though my laptop has a decent CPU and graphics (Geforce GTX 1650TI), it came with a rather weak loadout for its RAM and its hard drive, only 8GB's of DDR4 RAM and 256GB SSD.

I'm looking to upgrade to 32GB of DDR4-2933mhz RAM and a 2tb SSD, and to have whoever does the installation to transfer everything from the old SSD to the new one. I'd like some recommendations on what brands or specs I should be looking for in these two products to make sure they're compatible with my laptop. Looking at a budget of about $500, though I imagine the RAM would probably be roughly $150 and the SSD $200 or so.

My laptop specs: https://www.target.com/p/hp-16-a0035nr-16-1-34-pavilion-gaming-laptop-intel-core-i5-10300h-nvidia-geforce-gtx1650ti/-/A-80269668

Actually, according to the command prompt, my 8GB stick's speed is 3200mhz.

So I would assume I should be looking for two 16gb sticks that match it at 3200mhz? The question is, I don't know what size SODIMM ram I need, they seem to come in various different pin totals.

I would guess, since it's DDR4, I'm looking for 260-pin? Something like this?

The max is 64gb, but I don't think I'll get much benefit out of going that high. 32gb is more than enough for the scope of what I do on this laptop, which is mostly gaming.

The transfer bit is interesting, I'll take a look at that.

Specifically though, knowing my specs, I was wondering if you could recommend a specific model of 32GB, 3200mhz DDR4 RAM and a 2tb SSD that you know for sure would be compatible with my laptop, so I don't have to browse too much, or at least have something to compare to other products that I know by proxy would be compatible as well.

I don't want to buy something that isn't compatible with my laptop and either have to return it or be out that money outright.

Just get the cheapest crucial 2x16gb ddr 4 ram (SODIMM); it's cheap and amongst the top performing.

As for 2TB SSD, if you want one ssd to do it all, get a 870 EVO 2TB. If you only play d2r though you don't need a 2TB.
