Hello, I’m just coming back to gaming after a long time off and I’m currently about to purchase a MSI gt70 from a friend of mine. I just wanted it to play d2:r, gta and warzone. I’m giving him 300$ for this laptop. The questions I have are, is there any upgrades I can make to it, and am I getting a decent deal? The laptop came out almost 10 years ago I think. Any help is appreciated

It'll run d2r fine at 1080p with graphics set to medium. On legacy it'll run smooth as (25fps) butter.

It might overheat tbh, laptops from that time had terrible temp management.

You can upgrade the ram, change the HDD to an SSD and it should run quite smoothly.

I dunno which GTA you're playing but it should handle 3?4? fine.
