Take out the 4 GB RAM module and add another 8 GB ram stick to get dual channel. You should be able to play on high settings with 60 fps.

There is no 12 GB ram module. It's either 2, 4, 8, 16, or 32 GB ram stick. You must have 8+4 GB Ram? If you take out the 4 GB ram stick and add another 8 GB ram stick, your performance should double up allowing you to play on high settings.

This laptop should run D2R fine at 60fps, you might be on a battery saver power plan or you're being thermal throttled. Set your power plan to max performance and get a laptop cooler.

It looks like it's a PC not a laptop, but still could look into power saving settings. More ram will definitely not hurt either
