Or do low level ones disappear quicker?
I can find a well pretty fast starting from level 1, whereas later on I might not even find one in an entire solo climb.

generally easier to find wells at level 1-10 i can speculate a few reasons why but i dont think there's anything concrete,

I dont believe the depth of the well makes a difference on how long it lasts, had too many level 30+ wells explode after 1 item.


so all wells arn't equal, they can take anywhere between 1 and over 100 items, but the vast majority take less than 20,

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I mean't the depth of the well is different or not when found later, I had one found at 70 poof after 1 lvl 45 item too.

This is why +X Well maps (low tier) actually gives you decent coin... again finding one of these maybe troublesome, but exploring Catacombs @ low level definitely increases the odds of finding them...
