So I have a 2020 Macbook air that has the intel i5-1030NG7 CPU @ 1.1GHZ processor with the iris plus graphics. I'm in windows 10 via bootcamp. I've updated the drivers, but I still get a message every time I try to run D2R that says please update your intel graphics drivers you will likely encounter crashes etc... it loads get a black screen then it crashes. I've read to run in admin mode, update all drivers, update all Microsoft updates etc... but I've also read that D2R just won't run on this machine even in windows 10 bootcamp, does anyone know for sure?

Hi Conroy,

I’ve been able to setup d2r on Mac utilizing the tool you mentioned. Try messing with the settings and ensure Diablo is in window mode, run as admin, and setup for compatibility with windows 7.

Furthermore, you might have to partition a ton of space to your partition in order to run the game.

If you do get it to run, the specs on your mac won’t be able to handle the game well in high dense areas, I recommend looking into a better machine to run the game.

I think I have just under 2gb free on the partition it installed the game but crashes immediately. I've done windows mode, run as admin, setup compatibility but I'm wondering if something is up with the graphics or video card that won't allow it it run. I plan on Xbox mostly, just would like to do a few things here and there on PC.

1.1ghz processor seems to low I bet it's causing the crash
Especially since you need other programs to run it
