Prices will continue to ever reduce throughout December while everyone continues to gear, to a lesser extent for PvM (shorter time frame) and to a greater extent for PvP (longer time frame to gear). Also, in the event that the Ladder for D2r is announced (this is expected but should not be presumed!) it is likely that there will be a short term price crash which would stabilise over a 1 month period (before Ladder, and 2 weeks after Ladder, in the now "Non Ladder".

PvP gear, the hard to find (i.e. not runewords), will typically hold its value however.

It is for this reason that the "PvM" gear will continue to rapidly reduce in value while PvP gear will either remain static, reduce, or in certain instances, increase in value.

For new and old players, the previous topic and the below, is a guide on what is sought after in the game. Special thanks to everyone that helped with previous versions of this including: Spaz, Jayzboi, NiRo_O , Greendale & Sire.

Finally a quick comment to new and old players - The "Jackpot Items at this stage in the game (1000fg+) are Still High Runes such as Jah and Ber (to make Enigma, Infinity etc) but they are now overshadowed by the "Long Term" Jackpot items such as:
