i'm not going to pretend like i know the answer, but i'm pretty sure they're talking about legacy items, old ass items, before there was "account bound shit" so anything that can be traded is going to be an item from a long time ago, if i'm not mistaken. nothing new obviously can be traded because of the bind on account

to trade in diablo you must uninstall diablo 3 and install diablo 2.

I assume people only trade non-seasonal very very old items back when they weren't account bound.

Otherwise... the only legit way is, while you play with someone and an item drops, you can trade it with them for the first few hours. Afterwards it bounds to you.
