as i kid i grew up on the worse stuff out there 5cent bag of top ramen 10cent cup noodle
as i age i realize none of that is any good and now i appreciate a good ramen atleast twice a week

found a ramen called shin ramyun and fell in love the first one i ate was spicy af but i got used to it pretty quick
found out they had a premium version called black that is more balanced in flavor but i couldnt find any local to me so i made an order on amazon for box of 20
its very expensive compared to nissin but its worth every penny the quality is top notch
are there any other good instant noodles out there worth trying?

Shin black is often noted as an instant ramen favorite/standard.

Ottogi Jin ramen (spicy) is similar to the non-black shin version. Also Korean.

Indomie mi goreng instant noodles (hot and spicy) flavor is pretty good, it's a little different since it's a dry prep instead of a soup dish. Small packet btw.

I've seen samyang buldak (various flavors) come around a lot recently on the internet, not sure if it's a meme but it is very spicy. My wife picked it when we were browsing an Asian market because she thought the chicken graphic was funny. I think it was one of the spicesr ones, it was very, very spicy.

learning more about it still i will keep an eye out for those tho i think red shin ramyun is about as spicy as id like to go since it still lights me up sometimes and i thought i could handle my heat fairly well

I’ll pan fry up some skirt steak. Pepper only (so much salt in insta noodle)
Set aside after reaching desired “doneness”

Crank that heat to high

Cut up some green onion, shredded carrots, water chest nuts. Put it in that pan and throw a little char on it.

Prepare your insta noodle to Al dente, I add another half cup of water to dilute the salt a bit more.

Throw all together and serve

I just buy cases from this wholesale place where I live. Less than 5 bucks and there are 24 packets inside, so it works out to be less than 20 cents each. I only like the beef flavor. Don't like the chicken ones.
