76ers on a 7 game win streak boys
Joel Embiid, who draws more double teams than anyone in basketball this season, now has 30+ points in all 7 games during this streak, and 30+ in each of their last 9 road games (a new franchise record). Joel Embiid joins Wilt Chamberlain and Allen Iverson as the only Sixers with 30+ PTS in seven consecutive games. He's absolutely dominating right now, playing the best basketball of his career after being arguably the best player in the league last season and only missing out on MVP due to missed time.
76ers sitting just 4 games out of the #1 seed in the East. To put it in perspective this season, Embid was out for 11 games due to Covid, several of the other starters and key rotation guys have missed a lot of time due to Covid-19, still no Ben Simmons, and the sixers are STILL right below the top 4 teams just a few games out. You can't make this up, if they make a deal for a guard that can contribute to replace Simmons they're all of a sudden contenders to win the East again.
