Apparently the NHL refs will enforce a rule where a players helmet comes off will be a roughing penalty lol.

Last night example was when Schenn made a solid hit, and knocked helmet off the lol oiler, Schenn Recieved a roughing penalty for it.

Later in the game, loloiler deliberately ripped Pearson's helmet off with his hand and the refs didn't call it.

It's actually savage they released him after last night's game in his hometown, Abbottsford. He doesn't even have to fly back to EDM and can just stay. Unless.. he actually left some shit behind and he still has to go back lmao
