For style and nostalgia reasons I'd like to play a ww bard with a 2h sword, what would we best, botd in an eth colossus sword or balrog blade or is grief better even in a 2h weapon?

given ur premises i'd go botd in an eth colossus sword instead of Grief, because of the % dmg

You would need 44 IAS from gear for the last attack frame. Implying no other AS buffs.

Only ias from weapon counts as ww frame.

for nostalgia, I second the golden grandfather graphic.

maybe add in a arkaine's valor and vamp gaze to further the look.
