What's the best PVP character that you can build for less than 5K coins?

Almost all serious pvp characters will require enigma and that alone makes them way above 5k price range. For pub games maybe sorceress/charger Paladin/foh paladin or some bullshit bear summoner Druid (you can keep your bear outside fighting other people and stay safe in the city).

As for a legit melee pvp communities you don’t need enigma for bvb (barb vs barb), zeal vs zeal etc. however lot of people spend thousands of forum gold on expensive inventory and visionary mod gear, which will always put you in a lost position.

If I would have a 5k budget I would go for a fist of heaven paladin, it should be sufficient for a pub games as most people won’t use max light res/absorb gear anyway.

hard to put a price on a character for pvp when you have not specified if this is for D2 or D2r. i mean the D2 economy has fallen through the floor and u can get just about anything for 5K, whereas in D2r, 5K wont even get you a javelin.

Bm sorb/75 block trap sin or hammer palidan with 37 life sc's and an option to desync charge attack with a decently strong secondary weapon for certain situations

Do you have enigma already or no?

If no, in D2R, then probably just sorc?

This is why I’ve thought about making LLD or VLLD characters. I know it can be MORE expensive, but I’m fairly sure it’s cheaper to get into at the bare minimum and only getting super big dick gear + jewels is where it gets expensive.

HLD is also boring as fuck to me personally due to everyone having teleport and it just being all games of cat and mouse, (V)LLD seems more fun in that regard.

If d2r your only choice is cold sorc with that budget. You can’t afford a budget fpk char yet, try in a few weeks
