You could, just that you wouldn't be able to defeat the cow king since he is immune to lightning.

Using quest bug logic, you can open a cow game with another character that has done hell, and join with the one you kill the king with. A strong merc should be able to do it.

Lightning has such big damage, pierces 100% and is pixel based, so even without infinity it will do enough damage and have enough aoe that it is viable for cows without infinity.

EU server, so hes playing D2R, infinity makes everything faster, you just gonna cow slower. I cow with my light sorc, no infinity, my merc kills cow king.
