Where are the scalpers picking up these gpus from? I have sli 980tis and they are really starting to show their age. I’m eyeing a 3080 and I don’t mind waiting for it for a bit but idk where to even start. Is there a waiting list you can be put on somewhere to be able to buy one at msrp? Any help appreciated

I got mine from NewEgg shuffle.

If you don't want to pay the higher prices of AIB cards (Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, etc.) then you'd have to track BestBuy in-store only notices for the FE cards.

It's been a while but you'd have to go to their website for any news release.

The last announcement from BestBuy was 9/30/2021. And only select stores will have them in stock on that day, with a huge line.

Another way to check is Microcenter. Some stores are really good at updating their inventory on an hourly basis. Most are not. But Microcenter probably has the AIB cards along with the FE cards.
