How much you guys are excited about this new movie ?
Finaly one not directed by Anderson and w/o Milla !!!
This trailer shows J Roberts tryed to stick to the video games :drool:

Would've been better as a series and focused on the mansion and then moved onto the police department. Looks like it has potential, but it underwent reshoots back in May, so I don't know how that's going to fair.

coming from someone who has been in love with the video game franchise for the last 20 years and platinumed everything that was platinumable

Looks 1000x better than what they've been doing, but it still looks bad.

I think it's time that people just acknowledge that the best way to translate games to screen, is by doing high-budget television shows. There's no reason to to try and put this much shit into a two-hour block.

thats not wrong ... problem is most tv shows are too long due to their success :(

It’s getting better thankfully. More and more shows are understanding the value in ending while on or near the top. Netflix as successfully done it with a few titles, HBO is generally great at this, and Amazon is beginning to make a name for itself with amazing exclusives.

On network television, not a fucking chance lol. Network TV is all about whoring something out until the show is no longer profitable. Premium channels have made this mistake as well, but they’re not nearly as shit as the alternative.
