i also was able to find them for 1400, when your nearest walmart is out of stock it defaults to showing their online price. we dont want you to feel bad, i would not call them roughly the same peformance with the resolution difference thrown into the equation. If you know that you can appreciate 300hz, then it's more worth it to you than we are figuring, but if that's not really the case then getting the Lenovo for 1400 is the move if you can find it. If you not wanting to deal with the hassle of all that causes you to deny this then that's not necessarily a bad thing.. that's just another form of all the pros and cons being fine with you.. so enjoy either way. Last thing: if you've never seen 165 vs 300 or 1080p is all you're used too (no idea if this is the case), maybe go check them out in person to confirm how you feel.
