I dont have a problem with it but can someone explain why steam gift cards and bnet gift cards are openly accepted/traded for but PSN (which is literally the same as Steam in terms of how it is redeemed, etc.) are not?

Because steam you can literally gift to to someone / show active history. Also it’s not a gift card on steam that people buy itms a game copy and they “trade” them the game.

Gift cards are allowed as well, but as you stated, this is much safer with logs and has been approved over time, BNET just recently got added to the allowed list. PSN I doubt will ever be allowed sadly.
