It's possible they used animals to propagate it using random mutations over a long period of time, but that's an extra assumption we currently have no evidence for. Meanwhile we have a lot of evidence that it came from natural sources.

so i have to be more direct then i think! yeah, no one expects fauci to post a facebook selfie in a bsl4 lab saying "feeling cute, might release a deadly virus later...idk yet". but when the ground zero is a city with a lab needed for the virus experimentation (chance roughly about 1.5% based on population), when you find fauci directly funding that specific type of research (NIAID, of which fauci is the director was proven to have approved gain of function research in wuhan, research that was banned in 2014 and could only be ignored if NIH or NIAID director signed it; this strongly suggests that he might have been implicated in creating the virus, and is conclusive evidence that he at least funded the TYPE of research that MAY HAVE created the virus), then fauci specifically denied any possibility that the virus might have leaked from that lab (a normal person would simply say "well its not likely, but its possible"), shi zhengli (aka "chinese batwoman") who did the research in china, had proven collaborations with the US on this, then the lab leak idea was "dismissed", "debunked", "proven as a conspiracy theory" by many, most of whom actually had relations with china (if you remember peter daszak writing that letter, the guy who was later found to have been more closely connected to the research in wuhan than i am to jav porn sites)

theres more evidence, and yes, all of it is indirect, but if you know anything about science, you know that much of it is based on indirect evidence sometimes the evidence leads you to a theory and everything simply fits in now, it can be wrong (but then again, theres a chance for any scientific theory to be wrong), but another rule of science is, you go with the theory that fits situation the best! and currently, there is way too much evidence for the lab leak theory to not fit situation the best.

now, since your theory is that everything happened naturally, how about you giving some evidence or try to disprove mine ?

this is false as well. fauci did lie, as he first said he had absolutely nothing to do with any gain of function research, and later when he got caught, he just said "well yes we did gain of function research, but not on that virus". that was actually why rand paul grilled him on it, as although there is no proof fauci made sars cov 2 specifically, he did fund gain of function research in that particular lab and COULD HAVE MADE sars cov 2
