It’s actually “The Many Saints of Newark” but yeah

The Sopranos, like many others, is one of my favorite series of all time, & I usually re-watch it every couple of years as a result.

Perhaps it’s just my own bubble, however I’ve seen very few people talk about this. It seems like it has virtually no hype.

I’m excited though, & plan on seeing it this evening

But this movie was god awful. It’s all over the place and it really has no depth or meaning to it.

I’m fine with it being centered around Dickie, but there’s so little interactions with Tony. I was really hoping it was going to be more about Johnny Boy Soprano, Junior Soprano, Dickie Moltisanti coming up the ranks and running the streets and Tony watching from a far, getting sucked into the life. And I was really hoping the scene where Tony and Jackie robbed the card game and got fast tracked into the ranks.

Instead it just Dickie and his girlfriend all movie. There’s no actual ‘organized crime’ stuff going down.

I am a huge Sopranos fan, which is why I'm hesitant of this, and why I think it'll likely suck.

It didn't look good from the trailers, it looks like a nice way for James' son to pay homage to his father, but it does not look like a good movie.

I will be surprised if it's even 6/10

It’s like a 4.5/10
