to pair with your gpu a 5600x would probably be about your sweet spot to be honest, your gpu would become your choke point if you went up to that but not by a ton, a 3600 would be fine as well but its just not as recent. i'd personally splurge on the 5600x as it's more modern, has better core performance, and is very stable to overclock/easy as well.

Okay great, I'll swap that out.

Should I cancel it? I read several bad things about ibuypower, but not until after I purchased it. Merp.

build seems okay, but you're going to be paying an omega premium for a 'prebuilt' that comes with...windows 11... if you're worried about building it yourself, i wouldn't be, it's not hard to build a pc and it's that much more rewarding imo when it's done

I enjoyed building my first.

The only reason I went this route is I figured it would be cheaper overall since this one comes with a gfx card.

so I didn't read page 1 all the way, and I don't know how the pricing matches up with your current budget/future plans but in general the 5600x/32GB/580 custom PC is a better idea than the ibuypower with a 3600 + 3060. you'll get better hardware quality building it yourself. I would upgrade to a 650w PSU instead since the price should be small, keep it gold and modular. I don't recommend the 212 evo, it's a fine cooler and was the best budget option for a decade but there's better options. a better option in the same price range is the Scythe Freezer 34 line, or if you have the money you can get a Noctua product (Noctua has great support, you can likely reuse it in future builds).
