Seriously though, just ignore people. It's easier and usually makes the person mad that you don't acknowledge their existence. Simply ignoring them is usually enough to bait them into getting 10% warn at worst, and a couple suspensions at best.

Just ignore these kinds of posts, hit the report button and get back to the grind, there is nothing to gain from drama.

Appropriate action has been taken against the user for his repetitive harassment directed towards you.
This doesn't allow you, the victim in this case, to then break the rules as well. You were not punished for defending yourself, you were punished for breaking the site rules, of which details can be found in the pm you received about it.
