You should try using it with wild rice for me and let me know how it turns out.

As for normal rice maybe I'm old fashioned but I prefer to make mine on the stovetop.
This could also be because everything I seem to eat rice with is not do-able in crockpot/instant pot or would completely suck which kinda removes the whole point. For me anyway.

Cooking on stovetop works and in fact I have tried it myself, but you have to watch it. Whereas with a rice cooker, you just put rice and water in, press a button and go back to gaming.
