Hey,

So I got rng’d hard on my new house/driveway and so it is quite steep in two areas.

From the road to sidewalk and sidewalk to driveway.

I am on the list for a c8 but I am starting to think it is impossible.

I will include some pictures let me know your thoughts on options I assume either more concrete or some sort of ramps? Concrete is limited due to public side walk that hoa will obviously not let me
modify and I dont think widening will do much?

The worst angle is road to sidewalk because it goes down then up a rolled curb to sidewalk.

I am going to look into rules for driveway angles but I suspect I am just screwed by the builder/plot.

Another question, bonus points if you can find arrival approach angle for a 2015 ford hatchback se, it is my wife’s car and you approach the driveway straight the front plastic air splitter underneath will scrape.

Even with the front lift system approach angle is 11.x degrees for c8. If my math is correct my wife’s fiesta approach angle is 19 degree which scrapes

weekend car? Lol.
my buddy had 2 long 2x4 planks in his garage whenever he brought out his GTR/ Parked into garage.
his street to driveway was like yours, except a little more of a drop (almost straight curb)

on the upside you can ask the city if you can make a extension, just make sure its hollowed out a bit underneath and water cant be built up (kind of like a drainage but a slab on top for ur driveway :P
other thing you can do is a "Curb Ramp" search it up on google images. im sure they make one good enough for you, though im not sure HoA will be too happy about it if left as a perm fix, and then its also annoying to pull it out and slap it on the driveway
everytime you wanna go in or out lol.

That was my assumption especially in this community people report each other for everything no way they will be okay with curb ramp.

I can look at the extension but I think hoa will block as any perm change in front of house has to be approved.

they make these ramp things, and you can get inserts and bolt it to the ground
