Back when uber minions gave XP. A Necromancer could put bone wall in spot to make meph agro a hammerdin. Giving exp for the whole party.
I hosted these back in the day.
Leechers spots where 10-12fg an hour. I paid a necro and paladin 10-12fg each hour and took the second hdin spot myself.
Leechers could just go afk for the amount of hours they paid for.

who remembers act 5 in classic? you could socket uniques.

I remember being 12yo and my friend asked me to be the bone wall necro and I had no idea what I was doing. Itd be cool if they brought it back like as a special xp weekend type thing once or twice a year

level 1-80 was about 90 minutes if i remember correctly.

We also did leveling services. Rush + level 1-90 was 220-250fg a slot (us on their accounts). Took about 6hour totals. So up to 1250fgs, up to twice a day.
Fully legit, no kind of 3 part programs involved.

I never got there but i remember joining games and the party was in the throne and i was like wtf lol

Hell yea! The economy around Gubers was so much fun, there was no reset tokens and akara would not reset skills/stats either. It was the only way to quickly remake a character, fun times.



Agreed, even if it was broken it so much fun! And past lvl 90 it barely gave any exp, you couldn't exploit it to get 99, only to get lvl 90 in 2-3hours from scratch

I wish someone made a private server where you can do Gubers again

was done using some program to get you to uber duriel from the organs then you'd open a tp to town and it would take you to act 5. you couldn't get the act 5 wps though so it was only in that game iirc.
