Sure its a "no" but just to save me the trouble of finding out can u upgrade a white/socketed piece of gear for instance upgrading a crystal sword to a long sword (not sure if thats the next lvl but u get the point) found some nice white/socketed bases that would look great if they are upgradable

You can upgrade only rares and uniques.

you can upgrade a crystal sword to long sword by throwing away the crystal sword and getting a long sword

Not sure the point in upping rares probably depends on class and build I'm guessing I'm disappointed bc I can have a 5 tornado and 2 to all skills antlers made but defense is only about 19 I think wanna turn it in to delirium
