and this is the first time i've remembered this kind of bot even being in diablo lol. all my thoughts and memorys about d2 back in the day, this just finally hit me.

idk if d2 still got them, other than a pretty much solo run through to refamiliarize for d2r haven't played in years.
I'll tell you what though I always got some enjoyment out of those, just a little extra thing to spice up a day playing diablo.
I'm gonna miss those though, pretty damn sure bots will make their way in even if its not your average player using them, not super stoaked for that
but I'd imagine the channel bots, spam bots, etc will be toast, so I bet these are gonna be gone too.

d2r should give an update with trivia channels at some point. Who agrees?

As to answer the main dog up top yes trivia is straight i think they may just concentrate on in game use of abuse with bots joining in and out of games.

Idk what the technical term would have been for them was they were the bots in usually like a clan's channel or a baal channel that asked all types of questions about diablo if you were the first to answer you got the point(s) and obviously there was a list of the people with the most points etc. Was like playing d2 jeopardy i loved it.

Those bots were fucking awesome!!

Could always join the channel in the wee hours of the morning. And someone was playing for hours with a 400 streak etc.
Then beat him to a answer to mess with him.
