Today it seems like you can only set a birth date, if you fill in day, month and year. It doesn't accept if not all is filled.

My suggestion is that it's possible to only set year of birth.

I personally would not want to enter/ show complete date of birth on my profile, but year is fine. Also it would increase privacy of data.

Birthday reminder won't work (only if you fill in complete date).

Lmk your thoughts.

Makes no sense to me

I think its set that way so that you show up on the "Today's Birthdays" if you choose to include your day. Otherwise it's just no info.
