Nec, but can get pwned by sorc, and you need heavy build and inzane skills if u consistent gonna own ele dru.
A good sorc is good, but a good barb or pala usually takes them. (if ur playing chargehammer or 48 or lower fcr vt/smite ur argument is invalid xD)

But in the end of the day its usually about the player, and if player need a tanky build its relevant as well.

My wolf kinda owns everything, i have met 1 hard barb, and 3 hard palas so far. All had anti psn gear. If i need 3 fully rabies duration to take a offensive tele smiter or hammer down it starts getting hard xD

There is not such thing as "best pvp build"
Every build have his counter but if GM pvp Id say these class are able to bring you a lot of fun,a deep learning curve, and fair chances vs most oponents :
