hello i can't connect to my d2 1 week now ... said impossible to connect try again in a few minutes after the version check i try uninstall i try firewall i try all can't connect i look at the hosts too i look at all but can't it made me crazy for real :'( if one can help me i will send fg if u have solution

when u try to login, u get an message, your account has been closed.

try not to use vpn and reset your router(power off for 1min)

From previous threads regarding being banned/ban times; if you use a VPN you are at high risk of temp ban. Blizz apparently sees the use of a VPN as a sign of commercial exploitation of the game.

blizzard does not "ban ip address connecting to d2" they do on the other hand: ban accounts(account closed 9) or classic cdkeys(your key is disabled) or on blizforums(please login after the year: 2100 thank you), they will RESTRICT ip to connecting to d2 if you have ran a non purpose built d2 proxy/vpn then its 2 weeks from the hour from the second of the restriction event. logging back in to check does not reset and it cannot be lifted.

Now a ban is death you cant wait 3 days and roll the stone away from the tomb and say sry bro lag was thick lets go do some baal runs rofl da lag time zzzz. So a ban is perm....
restrictions: its just temp aka 2 weeks -> use another ip address

resetting the router does nothing....

solution: ALWAYS CONNECT TO BNET WITH A SPECIAL PROXY!!!!! if that connection gets pwned NO BIG DEAL nothing of value is lost aka TIME. Proxys are your safety net. if your really really really good then you wont need them connecting to bnet but always have a fallback just in case


(since you can make a post on jsp i am ruling out that its a network issue where it cannot connect to the internet)

Using vpn gets you insta banned. Can't remember if it was 15 days or one month.
