Building a computer

If this could help me build another computer decent for near to nothing Id do it

Mainly I want a computer laptop or desktop I can play for d2 resurrected and other games that will work really well. I thought 650 would get me there but I'm considering the 1000 range if i can get something that much better. If someone has any other input maybe bit over a grand id be interested but mainly I want a rig that is gonna run awhile games into the future and not have and issues with games at hand. I also want it ready for Diablo 2 resurrected release date preferably early so I can trade spawn and make my money back.

What kinda computer can i get for 900-1200 or 650 to 850.... If someone can make me a computer I live and obviously am going to order Ill give a fg prize of at least 76 fg ill consider donating a lot more if i like the plan or you go out of your way and show me a lot a lot of options. thanks... also what i can do with some of these parts i have and if i can save money or buy used parts in my city and make another gg computer just not brand new... thank you for you time

alright I'm going to be honest and say this info considering how long it took me to get ought to be worth something this answers everything and leaves you with a good computer to get that will run d2r
lets just say this right now $900-1200 will get you an okay laptop not top of the line by any means but it will work and work well for d2r and should work okay for some other future games or future games on low graphics.
desktop's will get you more bang for your buck but i recently just picked out the laptop i want for d2r and it came out to i believe $1230 with tax, that's what I'm going to use as a second pc, my pc is better than that, but it will be all i need for d2r.
Omens are by no means fantastic computers there are way better ones but they are also not a bad computer at all either. So the reason why I went with Omen is because you get a little better than the recommended requirements for d2r where as a like idk
$400-$700 laptop on amazon or some shit might have an okay processor, might have 16gb ram but they all seem to have shit video cards i mean BAD i've noticed this with the cheaper desktops too. All the video cards are trash, so i wouldn't even waste my money.
If the cheaper shit does run d2r thats all its ever going to be good for, nothing in the future i mean hell this is just a remastered version half the size if not a quarter of the size new big mmo's are gona be and what not. Anyway here is the laptop and why.

go on hp and find the customizable omen laptop i believe its the cheapest one that starts around like $800-$900
then go into customization

if you pulled the right one up it should say Configure your OMEN Laptop 17t-cb100

these are the options i picked in order from top to bottom other than that i didn't pick anything else/left it stock

1. windows 10 home
2. Intel core i5-10300H quad core processor that comes with a NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1660 Ti (6 GB) graphics card
3. 16GB ram
4. 1 TB sata 512ssd hard drive
5. Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX 201 (2x2) and Bluetooth® 5 combo (Supporting Gigabit file transfer speeds) (this is the better version they offer for $20 more than the cheaper version, for $20 why not.)

if you add $430 you can get the i7 with the 8 gb geforce rtx 2080 graphics card which is what i would have done if i didn't already have a better computer this will get you further into the future than the option i chose, i think geforce is out to 3090 now so its def not top of the line but its not complete utter trash like the ones in cheaper laptops

the recommended requirements which why not have a bit better than anyway are
windows 10
Intel® Core i5-9600k/AMD Ryzen 5 2600 processor,
Nvidia GTX 1060/AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT graphics card
16 gb ram

not even kidding the cheaper laptops $400-700 there graphics cards were not even close as good to the nvidia gtx1060 even alot of the non gaming desktops still not close. Almost like your forced to buy a gaming laptop to run games well now adays. or how you'd want to run them anyway.
so with the omen i was talking about you get a nvidia GTX 1660 TI which definently tops the recommended amount by a fair bit. This will work for d2r probably some games in the future but if your worried about this lasting for years and years and years to come youd prolly want the better processor and graphics card but any of those will be just fine for d2r
the rams decent ram in the omens so the 16 should be all you will need for a long time although for an extra $180 you can have 32gb ram instead of the 16 but that puts you out of your price range

also you get for the price a 1tb hard drive & 512gb ssd hard drive most laptops you will see offer just 256-512gb ssd, some offer a regular 1tb hard drive but not often both. and not often a 1tb ssd for that matter either. Depending on how you want the overall price to reflect you could get less or more hard drive space. That's just what I choose so I still have a good amount of room for music games etc. Not just like 1 game the operating system and some notes.

total price $1159.99 + tax

overall i think this is a good deal for what your getting. you can make a better laptop one with similar specs but a much better video card/processor but your talking from $1800 - $4000 depending how far you would want to go desktops or laptops. This omen fit my requirements. Is it worth it to get a better processor/graphics card option. Yeah but idk, then it starts coming down to well what i would get for $1800-$2000 i could get WAY BETTER for $2600-$3200 ya know what i mean... then before you know it you got a dumb expensive machine, way overpowered for what you currently need it for.

i don't have it in me to tell you and sit here and write all the laptop specs i went though and comparing all different processors and graphics card BUT at the end of looking through all of those and normally being the guy who goes way overboard on the best of the best I even decided this was a better buy for my money, for how i will be using it. And it being my secondary pc i really wanted to go cheaper like $400-$600 bucks. Honestly I probably could, but those computers are literal junk. They are meant for old people who like print some things, watch the stock market, and like buy things on amazon. Not gamers.

so u have a asrock z77 pro 3
https://www.pc-specs.com/mobo/ASRock/ASRock_Z77_Pro3/1247

depending how things can fit in your case since (i have no clue what case u have) you can spend about 400 - 600$ just upgrading and can get to 4k gaming@ 60fps and will handle pretty much any game including d2r. the only real features u wont be getting graphics wise will be no dlss no ray tracing no amd fsr. which isnt that big a deal. dlss isnt anymore than resolution scaling basically and ray tracing is just more resolution on light and reflections and ofc your processor wont be multitasking like crazy like how newer gen processors can (which u wont notice unless your trying to watch 20 porn tabs at once.)

upgrade to a i7 3770k 50-100$, buy yourself a used 1070/1070ti/1080 300-500$, get 16gb of ram ddr3 2400mhz 100$, sata ssd for your os 30-50$, wd blue hdd 2 tb 30-50$, pc full tower atx case 50-100$

I n need the proc, a video card like the one above and the 16gm ram that should be it

I was looking at video cards and the 1080 model is selling way op the 1060 which is replaced already by 2060 was selling at 350 new if i really looked for stuff cheap. I dont have a lot of experience finding these things had friends on here build my computer years ago.
The RTX series the 3060 most placing there asking a grand even used like wth but i found a few off a good reliable source for 550 because the rtx has more supply right now then the gtx 1080 1060 prefer 1080 because of the bench marks or a 3060 i hear a 5700 isn't had either or is it 4700, similar to 1080. The Gtx anyway is op atm just like every video card with covid supply and demand has driven it all up id almost rather buy a ps5. but i prefer pc.
the 3060 released 2 years ago for 200 bucks talk about drive being driven up by covid and supply and demand.
If anyone can help me get these parts at the best possible price ill pay them FGZ worth there while. I'm not cheap so.

Yeah with me just spending 3 grand on jewelry for gf and needing 6 grand for my lawyer for a simple address change is ridiculous so luckily i got a new job signed up for Monday construction.

to make this short i just need a good video card cheap with a a better proc then my i5-2500 3.30ghz becz its out dated and bad at multi tasking. id say i need the video card the most. then maybe ram or cpu.... if anyone can help me find a good price with covid driving the price of everything up... I need help and will pay fg to the one who gets me what i need. im not cheap.

id rather not be playing cross progression on a shared ps4 atm. for short periods in time since i live with 30 ppl that's what the lawyer is for so i can move back home on my conditional sentence and keep boxing here, as asked by the courts.
