Before I begin, the idea of hybrid's in 9-30 duels goes against the principal ideas of general lld rules.

DFC (diablo fighting championship) lld is a separate format with rules set for a meta using(or not using)hybrids for lld. So if you want to use hybrids....don't use them in 9-30 duels, just go to the DFC instead.

Moving on, I wanted to ask for some help as I'm not sure how to go about what I want to pilot. I scoped out some of the DFC participants and saw the majority (96%) used eop. I don't own an eop but I do have a goh.

At first I wanted to go in with a smiter, but I want to try some thing different.

Goh-df / trapper

This is what I have so far



Went with sword back to try and trigger that ow on top of goh while I mb them for some extra dot.

I went with more +skill to mart thinking I'll need the ar to land that df with goh.

Not sure if to use sojs or not, I'm thinking I'll need the +skills for more trap dmg, but idk if I'll do enough dmg with ls so I should go with wof??

Should I go with spirit swap or main a teleport stave?

Bos or fade?? Thinking bos would be better trap laying speed also I'm not sure what fcr I'll need

No idea on belt, I feel it can be interchangeable depending on ma. Same with gloves??

Note if I'm using a hybrid I cant use any life rep, I believe that's one of the rules. Or it's set to 15, I'll find out later lol.

Life 900+?

Mana 900+?

Ar for dragon flight?? This is a big one sense I want to land it as much as possible vs max block while using goh.

Not sure if I should use pro boots for more df dmg or just use some thing like cowkings or sanders for dex/ar sense goh would do most the dmg??

I don't want to try and use ww with a low ranged wep, I've already tried that..maybe if the goh was a naga base but even then I'm not super confident teleporting offensively.

I feel df could work , not arguing that ww/smiter are a better choice. I want to try a trapper with df and goh and see how far I can make it actually work.

u mist still want up'd g toes for cb chance ot bypass ES or Bone armor

just go standard LS traps with dual claw one side for trap dmg

rock mage fist and go with trap gear on circ ammy

the dragon flight dmg is going t come from Grief anyways

the dot from sword back will only stop rep , imo going with a shael'd whits will give better block and save stats

rock 15/12 inv make sure to hit 65 fcr bp and try 86 fhr bp so swap charms where needed *maybe stealth or shael'd v magi*


pretty much just hard stat df go with + all skills sojs v magi and rock trapper gear and claws on swap

have around 1600 LS dmg and a GOH dragon flight 1300 if you don't use sojs and 1100 if you dont use V magi *you lose about 200 trap dmg per less all skill*


df is gong to be a suicide attack , it might be decent enough to hit something w/o a shield tho

DF has a timer , but FCR helps

if you go the trap route you can at least stand a chance of surviving against chars and putting out dps rather then just praying for a DF hit.


if you want to go more kick route, go wof with mind blast for fhr lock df kick , this will require more hotkey rotations

i wonder if danz realizes he will be having to deal with hdins that have access to 40 liferep and prayer hard skilled, along with 16x super mana pots and 1600 mana during this event, lol.

or 40 liferep es firewallers who are allowed to use insight on swap.
