Hey guys
I'm looking to buy a new laptop. (Yes 100% sure I dont want a PC :) )

I guess price range is 1200-1500$ but pretty flexible.

I want a game to last for like 5 years so it has to be pretty good to run future games too.
In the near feature wanna use it for d2r and d4 with my 4k screen.

I saw this option which seems pretty nice for 1460$, would love for suggestions for beter options :)

HP OMEN 15-en1013dx-plus Gaming & Entertainment Laptop (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H 8-Core, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, RTX 3060, 15.6" Full HD (1920x1080), WiFi, Bluetooth, Webcam, Win 10 Home) with Hub

Do you think 16gb is enoght?
Are there AMD (or other) graphic cards that compete with Geforce in terms of price & quality?

That laptop is fairly solid for the price, 16gb should be fine for now imho.

Costco is selling a similar Intel based for $1499 "MSI GE76 Raider" i7-10750H - GeForce RTX 3060 - 144Hz 1080p

get a MSI, amd is fine, 16gb is plenty, i guess make sure it has a hdd and a ssd because space is pain if you play games. If it doesn't get one with the ability to upgrade. also get a laptop stand/usb port it makes your life alot easier if you want to game with a monitor/desk.

MSI GL66 Gaming Laptop: 15.6" 144Hz FHD 1080p Display, Intel Core i7-11800H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070, 16GB, 512GB SSD, Win10, Black (11UGK-001)

Also looks good for 1500$

It only has 512 SSD but it should be enoght for me, I also have a 1 tera external drive which I use to store old photos and files.

This is what I'd get tbh, most games are will be graphics limited. Drives are extremely easy to upgrade/add.

Comparing the two CPU's for gaming (direct comparison for CPU only), not taking into account the GL66 with the 3070 will perform even better.
