Hey !
Oh such a bummer that you can't continue this one. I would've recommended to continue it to the point you can have a final image that you're happy with. For example the whole body or just the upper body. The fact that there is one arm missing make the thing unfinished and I would highly recommend finishing it to put it in your portfolio. This is a promising piece. If you got a graphic tablet for PC yeah sure try it in blender. Eventhough I think it's not the best soft to polish a model. There might be 30 days trial versions for Zbrush. Take a look at it. And you'll find anything you need here to get started
https://www.artstation.com/learning/zbrush It is also a good Idea to render the final image and paint over it a little bit in 2D to add detail/atmosphere/background.
3.5h for this is really great ! I feel that you already have a good Art/drawing knowledge background. And that's great to start sculpting. Actually it's the most important.
Now comes the tough part
-Don't do dragons, it's so boring to see students doing dragons. I mean for fun and to try things out, sure. To sell some artworks also, sure. But for future pieces to put in your portfolio try to be more original. For example a Hedgehog but the spikes are tentacles. You get the idea.
-Some spikes lack of resolution
-it seems you've put space for the nostrils but you didn't put them
-teeth are a bit weird, they aren't sharp enough
-I don't see the hand !? Show the world if you know how to sculpt hands. Just kidding
Nice work, can't wait to see more !
Edit : If you have any question about what I said, just don't hesitate to ask
