Learned from the dev Canight, compiled by Warren: Vengeance is no longer a conversion skill. The elemental damage it does does not splash, it is simply applied in an area (AoE). The physical portion of the skill (simply from swinging your weapon) will still splash, but will not factor into the elemental AoE that the skill does. Weapon damage has absolutely 0 impact on how much elemental damage Vengeance does. Only elemental damage from gear (flat elemental damage [needs confirmation] and elemental damage %), +skills, and other elemental damage % sources (the resistance auras' passives) will increase the damage done in the skill's elemental AoE.
