Slightly I think League is just a good filler game. if no good games are out or your just bored you hit up the homies to play some league for a bit. Hardly anyone I know still grinds solo q and ranked like before.

As for the main channel only having 60k viewers there is also a lot more platforms to view league now. YouTube, Twitch, 3rd party streams, and co-streaming lcs games divert a lot of viewers from the main channel.

Accounts being $3 I would assume is because people have had more down time recently. Also more people have discovered working from home is kind of chill to a degree and wanted to dabble in selling league accounts. The places that pump out accounts see this as a good chance to promote cheap accounts to be competitive and make some quick cash(also they probably don't last long and are botted accounts).

pretty sure NA LCS has no viewers because literally only 2-3 teams are top tier while the rest either have 4fun rosters, or are afk and lose

doublelift, meteos and sneaky talked about how theres a lot of "afk boring teams who do nothing and lose" on their livestream thing

yes but the teams have always been shit but had way more viewers at least last year.

Doesn't help that they gradually ruined their own game over the past five or six years. Its just such a shitshow. Once upon a time your typical match actually had some semblance of flow and broken as shit characters didn't turn the game into a heart attack rather than a strategy game. Its like, originally they did good at eliminating some of the unfun parts of Dota, but eventually they just replaced it all with even worse stuff.

Never playing or investing in another Riot Games product for as long as I live. They're incompetent and fucking retarded with shit priorities.

lcs is pretty much dead. average NA gamer moved onto other games, NA teams are failures, even imports crash and burn most of the time. they ruined OCE just to help the LCS and it still hasn't done shit to improve the league LOL

game still strong in other parts of the world tho, gigantic in China/Korea and EU has seen a resurgence. still one of the top f2p online PC games and wild rift is doing very well on mobile. and the NA loss is not that bad because a lot of them are playing other riot games like TFT, LoR and Valorant.
