It shouldn't matter. It just depends on the social connections within a family or relative ties. It's like, if it's serious, it may be difficult for others to accept it. And that's fine. It must be up to everyone in a family how they choose to do things. If there is going to be long term family social ties, these things must be either all included or separated. As in, either everything must be accepted no matter what, or then someone will have to exclude their partners from family gatherings. Or there will be a breakdown in the family lineage tree and communication. One must always consider these things and it may always be a lot to consider.
