Ben Simmons would never be an all-star if he played in the West.
If Devin Booker can't get on the team in the West. If Lillard has to come in a couple years ago as injury replacement.
If Lou Williams had a case in the West a couple years ago to be on the team...
Playing in the West Ben Simmons wouldn't touch that game. Especially when he gets voted in by coaches.

Kyle Korver was an all-star in the East. Replacing injured Wade.
Kyle fucking Korver.

Ben Simmons is a all-defensive team player, good passer.
But he is not a Western Conference all-star.
Simmons is valuable, but he's prime Draymond Green, prime Josh Smith, etc in value.(draymond green would never be an all-star without playing next to two elite scorers)
Not Prime Damian Lillard nor Prime Bradley Beal value.

Celebrated his 25th birthday yesterday, as the Bucks won their Championship.

Hilarious.

Per WoJ
Philly trying to get a Har_en esque packet for Simmons.
They're canvassing the league for offers.

Sounds like DM's boy isn't going to get the kind of return Philly thinks he should get.
His value isn't going to go up magically throughout the season either. Unless he shows he can make defenses pay for sagging off him.

He's not a top player in the league, he's not even the best player on his team. With questions if Harris > Simmons.

report that Spurs turned down Moreys offer to send Simmons for 4 FRP's and 3 pick swaps

Morey is definitely delusional if he thinks he is getting that kind of haul for Simmons

Hopefully he stays in Philly and fades into the abyss and they get nothing.

Lets look back at the return for superstar players who didn't come out and say they "wanted out"... Who were still under contract.
Cavs - Kevin Love - extension kicked in, in 13-14 season
Minn - #1 overall pick Anthony Bennett, #1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins, Thad Young(Young talented two way player)
Philly - 2015 first round pick from Cavs, Luc Mbah a Moute and Alexey Shved

Melo had asked out
Knicks - Melo & Billups
Denver - Mozgov, Gallo, Chandler, Felton, 2014 first rounder, 2016 rights for best pick
Minn - Anthony randolf, anthony carter

(Did he ask out?)
Clippers - George
OKC - 5 first round picks, Skai, Gallo, rights to swap best for 2 other first round picks

Please don't play revisionist history in how the unknown players careers played out. These were all young promising prospects.

Lillard is top 2 at his position. Arguable that you could call him 1a and 1a with Curry. As well as a top 10 player in his prime.
Lillard has not asked out, Lillard's 4 year extension hasn't kicked in yet.
Simmons(flawed 3x eastern conference all-star. With real questions if he makes the game the past 3 years. DEVIN BOOKER HAS YET TO MAKE IT IN THE WEST..) two young promising prospects, and two LATE first round picks.
Are not enough to pull a player like Lillard. Given the history of top 10 players being traded for who haven't asked out.

Beal? Beal it's unlikely as well.

You can't expect your 2020 honda to get you a lambo in a straight trade.
Unless you're a laker fan...... Who believes they're getting everyone for their 1989 datsun 510.

Please add any superstar to the list you wish. I just picked 3 off the top of my head.

Okay but you are talking about Players not publicly talking and NBA teams wanting to make money its two different things they aren't causative.

A big one is AD. They got a whole team for AD.

Jimmy Butler was worth 4 players (3 and a pick)

Kevin Garnett demanded a trade:
In exchange, Minnesota received Al Jefferson, Ryan Gomes, Sebastian Telfair, Gerald Green, Theo Ratliff, and two first-round draft picks.

Dwight Howard Demanded a trade:
Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, a 2013 2nd round draft pick (Romero Osby was later selected) and a 2014 1st round draft pick (Dario Saric was later selected) to the Orlando Magic; the Los Angeles Lakers traded Christian Eyenga, Josh McRoberts and a 2017 1st round draft pick to the Orlando Magic; Nikola Vucevic and a future 1st round draft pick to the Orlando Magic

Harden Demanded a trade and got half the city of Brooklyn worth of Picks
