I think the reality is that nl has always been more popular for lld by a long shot, but ladder used to have regular good duelers (who also played nl).

The ladder players dried up this season because of d2r.

And the ones that remain are left with an inflated ego due to lack of good competition!

I mean If you load in another melee spawn and duel yourself you always win
