is say 10 to 15 sets of compound lifts and 10 to 15 sets of isolation enough work?
how many for arm day like 10 sets bis 15 sets tris?

I do 4 exercises for chest. 2 compounds (Flat + incline bench), 2 isolations

5 for back. 3 compounds (DL, pulldowns, rows) and 2 isolations.

5 for legs

4 for shoulders

3 for biceps and 3 for triceps

Usually 4 to 5 sets per exercise, but sometimes 3 depending on how I feel.

I had another great morning in the gym

10 sets assisted chins
5 bodyweight hyperextensions (was leary because you have to pin yourself down with your calves but it was fine)
3 seated deads with a kettlebell (i think someone called these seated good mornings)
5 reverse bbell curls
5 dumbbell curls
5 facepulls

I made it 4 times last week, 3 weeks of hard lifting in... I already see noob gains in the mirror

Could do abs and adductors/abductors if you're bored on one of the two rest days

Tbh if you're going three times a week I'd go full body excluding legs Mon Wed Fri to get the volume in. Hitting every muscle group twice a week is optimal if you're not on stuff

i go at least 4 times, 5 if the time with kids works out
