plan to buy a new pc from configuration website like cyperpower,
I need to use software like C4D, Keyshot, Solidworks, Fusion360, and 2D software like adobe PS, AI, ID,
so I was wondering if I should buy a large SSD as C disk (like 500G~1T), or just small SSD for system install.

Will these big software run faster if they installed in SSD disk C?
or they perform same if they installed in mechanical disks, which is also on budget

It's 2021. There's zero reason to use hard drives unless it's for music, movies, unplayed games, etc.

my current 5 years old pc is 480 GB SSD for disk C and 2TB HDD for files saving, and I like it, but u know the reason why I wonder if installing software on HDD is because the price, save as $$ as possible.

u're right, but this time I plan to configure a PC purely for installing c**** version software, no internet connected, wanna figure out how to be powerful CAD / graphic and meanwhile on budget,

Then build your own pc instead of cyber power if you’re trying to save money.

Ssd’s aren’t that expensive

Get a 1TB or 2TB NVME SSD for $100-200, pair it with a cheap B550 motherboard and a 5600x call it a day

does rtx 3070 worth it? or just 3060 is ok (for 3D modeling, rendering, digital sketch, vid editing),

I just built one not long ago for cad/cam, ssd makes a good deal of difference imo, and I would go with the Quadro card instead of a gaming card.
