Let's focus on the RAM because it could be the reason why you're getting the blue screen. Give me the specs for the RAM, or find the product link and post it here.

I have a feeling that the RAM does contain a XMP option and you're not enabling it. Because you didn't enable it, and everything being "high-end", the RAM is the one slacking here causing the blue screen.

G.SKILL Flare X (for AMD) 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16D-16GFX

If you look at the product page, your CL/CAS values are different from what your image shows. Something happened when you upgraded the BIOS, where it did not use the default timing nor default MHz value. It's definitely wonky.

Go to YouTube and look up how to enable XMP on MSI BIOS. Below is a video...that may or may not have the same look as your BIOS.

You want everything on auto/default, then enable the XMP. If you're still getting blue screen after XMP is enabled, then you want to revert back to basic default...and 1064MHz is not default. 2133MHz should be default.

I thought the RAM looked wonky to me as well but I've been so frustrated trying to work between crashes that I've just been dealing.

Appreciate it and will try that soon and update

SO when I go into the boot menu, it reads 2133. I enabled xmp to boost to 3200 and now it reads this in speccy

So something is not reading right?

Sounds like it's just Speccy software reporting back incorrect numbers...

XMP is enabled, but are you still getting the blue screen?

I'll let you know. been running about 5 minutes now since restart

also, just noticed that my RAM isn't showing up on the CPUID HWMonitor report but everything else is, even integrated graphics.

What's your processor? I know it says AMD Ryzen 3 but what's the 4-digit number?

I searched through the MSI forum and also on Google to get more information about these MSI motherboards. It seems to be related to the BIOS and maybe with a combination of processor speed with RAM timing. I don't think there's a person who has their issue resolved other than downgrading the BIOS.

Seems to be working for now but I won't be on it much this weekend. We'll see how it holds up until work load on Tuesday
