So I went to update my BIOS, got stuck in a boot loop. Hard stopped my computer. Did CMOS reset. Updated all drivers, also updated my BIOS (b450 MSI Tomahawk MAX)

Now I keep getting random BSOD for different reasons. Literally every time it's a different reason

Thoughts?

Wanted to add that on start up, the VGA led lights up briefly and then goes out and then the BOOT led lights up briefly and then goes out.

Not sure if part of this but throwing it out there

also, here are stats/temps. bottom driver is my boot nvme. seems a little high maybe?

Try to roll back to your old BIOS version and see if that fixes it. It's possible that the flashing of the new BIOS version damaged your CPU or RAM. Do you notice the BSODs occur when you're doing something in specific or is it random?

When you updated your BIOS, which version did you use? Also, are you sure you also updated the chipset driver?

Why is your RAM at 1064MHz? Did you go into BIOS and enable XMP option?

It's completely random and every time a different windows error message.

I thought I had it fixed last night. Disconnected all cords, pulled batter from mobo and pulled RAM. let sit for a hour or so after making sure all power was discharged. Booted up fine and then ran for a hour or so just fine. Went to sleep as it should and started right up this morning. Then about 1 hour into using, crash. 10 minutes later, crash. 20 minutes later, crash. 20 minutes later, crash. It's not been running almost 1 hour without a crash

error codes from today, in order of crashes: system_service_exception (afd.sys failure), system_service_failure(first time any have repeated), ntfs_file_system

edit: as soon as i sent that, it crashed 2 minutes later, error driver_irql_not_less_or_equal amdkmdag.sys failure

Xet knows what's up. If you made any changes to your system including XMP profile certainly reset that stuff back to default. You should flash the BIOS version that you were on previously as well to rule that out as well.

I updated to most recent build on MSI website

And I have no idea why my RAM is only showing 1064, i never messed with XMP or anything. I just run it stock, no OC or anything, no gaming boost, nada

Let's focus on the RAM because it could be the reason why you're getting the blue screen. Give me the specs for the RAM, or find the product link and post it here.

I have a feeling that the RAM does contain a XMP option and you're not enabling it. Because you didn't enable it, and everything being "high-end", the RAM is the one slacking here causing the blue screen.
