Armors are probably it, but I'm interested in marts especially tri-Dura. Do I need to take out a small loan just to cover it. Will I have to slow down gambling just to maintain?

No, really do you have any rough figures? What was the most expensive repair job you remember?

Right now the costs are already up to 7k and ist's just a no frills lvl 76 mart with ED and a bit of fire Damage.

Just how Expensive are socketed marts to repair? It's been a while and I remember it being pretty costly.

Mine has a max repair cost of 17664, still pretty cheap if you ask me.

Thank you. With 1 repair (60 durability) per Dia Hell run, that's quite the tax already. Though I agree it doesn't sound THAT high.

Maybe somebody got that beat...

Found better mart (ED194 & IAS30), 31360 full repair cost.
I bet mods such as barb|pala skills, or cold dmg, can matter a lot aswell.

Good question

I can remember that armors are usually more expensive (like nate) - I rem due to bvb duels

I read repair cost mostly triggered by %ed and dura adder also item class (exceptional > normal) but couldnt find a good source really

I think it would be a pleasure for to test that ... I know you're into such things :P

If you run an mf barb and use angelics with some %gf items its not an issue really. But I use to repair after each run. But also as usually I prefer dmg+leech over tridura for mfer. Having all 3 is a very rare find

It's probably something stupid, like repair cost ist x % of Sale cost.

So I took a Snap that costs 3339 Gold to sell, for repairs to Charsi. She is charging 834 gold for a 0/60 repair job. That's pretty much exactly 0,2497775381850 - a quarter. So now testing just got a lot easier. (Repair cost is 25% of weapon price, probably).

Unfortunately there is a cap on the price of items, but I'm still under the 35k budget with my clean mart. This just moves the question rather than answering. But maybe there are resources that list affixes and their effect on sale price.

Price before socketing:
Price after socketing:

Will it be a percentual increase or a lump sum on top?

I'll tackle white marts price vs socketed marts next, to determine if there is a difference in number of sockets. It would be interesting to know if the socket or the gem really hikes up the price.

Did a few tests, and the 25% thing appears consistent, nice find.
About the influence of each mod on the price, it would make sense if it was a multiplier.
I believe it could be tested with magic items from early NPCs.
