In all honestly alabama is being flooded with outsiders and I’m not happy about it. IMO many of them bring with them the blue state mindset and voting that they fled from to begin with.

people with a red state mindset, fled from blue states to a red state.. and brought the blue state mindset with them...

sounds like you're blaming the winds of change on anything you can make sense of

My flag is both blue and red since I'm French.
Nothing's better than purple.
Except capitalism.
Long live the pityless.

In France, we have a proverb that says: "At 20, if you don't vote left it is because you have no heart. At 30, if you don't vote right, you don't have a brain."

If you have cardiac arrests, it may not be just because of morbid obesity.

I think id only consider living in red states or swing states.

MT, ID, UT, CO, WY . I couldn't care less about political affiliations, I don't find that the average person that I run into and make relationships on a daily basis are driven by my political lean or impacted by others political lean. I'd say politics are discussed almost never actually with left or right leaning friends. Likewise, I notice very little in mannerisms between the two groups.
